Fresh ingredients shine on their own
Tuna salad is a comfort food with serious benefits.


It’s an easy protein for me, and I love how quick it is to throw together without turning on the stove at all.
And while I DO love a creamy base for my tuna salads, with the weather warming up I crave more fresh, light foods. And tuna really does shine with some aromatics and crunchy veggies.
Lemony Dill Tuna Salad

Ingredients
- 2 cans quality ahi tuna
- 1 apple
- 1 baby cucumber
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped bread and butter pickles pickles
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp pickle juice
- 1 tbsp stone ground or Dijon mustard
- Salt + pepper to taste
Preparation
- Step 1Chop apple, cucumber, bell pepper, pickles, and dill. The smaller, the tastier, because you’ll get all flavors in each bite.
- Step 2Add all to a bowl with both cans of tuna.
- Step 3Add in lemon juice, pickle juice, Dijon mustard, and salt + pepper
- Step 4Mix well and enjoy!
