So good your tastebuds won’t know the difference
I’m not kidding. This cake is DECEPTIVELY good. And I say deceptively because it has the potential to fool even the most skeptical taste tester into thinking this is a traditional chocolate cake. You know, the ones made with a bunch of ick that belong nowhere near our bodies?
This healthy chocolate cake even fools me. It’s just so yummy and such an easy recipe to throw together without much thought.
It’s made with nourishing ingredients like sweet potato and almond butter. And that’s what sets this cake apart from the crowd. It is good for the tastebuds and the body, and honestly I couldn’t ask for more. ♥️

Pinch of sea salt

make it
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a bowl, add all wet ingredients and mix.
Add all dry ingredients and mix to incorporate.
Pour into cake pan or baking dish and bake for about 30 min or until a fork comes out mostly clean.
Cool completely before topping with frosting.
make it: FROSTING
1. In a bowl, add melted dark chocolate and softened cream cheese. Mix really well. If it’s not sweet enough as is, you can add a little more dark chocolate or coconut sugar. I did not need to add any.
