SWEET + SALTY APPLE BARK

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted

  • 1 green apple, chopped small

  • 1/2 cup gluten free mini pretzels

  • Blood sugar friendly caramel sauce (recipe below)

MAKE IT

  1. On a parchment lined baking sheet, spread the melted dark chocolate evenly into a rectangle.

  2. Top with pretzels first, then apples, then caramel sauce, and top with more crushed pretzels.

  3. Freeze to set.

  4. Keep stored in the freezer.

BLOOD SUGAR FRIENDLY CARAMEL SAUCE

MAKE IT

In a food processor, blend until completely smooth. If you’re using a blender, you may need a little warm water to get it to blend well. Just add as much as you need, not more.
