SWEET + SALTY APPLE BARK
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
1 green apple, chopped small
1/2 cup gluten free mini pretzels
Blood sugar friendly caramel sauce (recipe below)
MAKE IT
On a parchment lined baking sheet, spread the melted dark chocolate evenly into a rectangle.
Top with pretzels first, then apples, then caramel sauce, and top with more crushed pretzels.
Freeze to set.
Keep stored in the freezer.
BLOOD SUGAR FRIENDLY CARAMEL SAUCE

1/4 cup peanut butter
MAKE IT
In a food processor, blend until completely smooth. If you’re using a blender, you may need a little warm water to get it to blend well. Just add as much as you need, not more.
