blueberry spinach smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana

  • handful of spinach

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • ½ inch piece of fresh ginger

  • ½ teaspoon chia seeds

  • pinch of blue spirulina (for color and added benefits, optional)

  • ½ cup milk (I use almond, or try coconut for a richer taste and creamier mouthfeel)

  • ice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender or nutribullet and blend until smooth. 

  2. Enjoy immediately!
